Pultec inspired EQ! This is our creative take on the classic Pultec built in a vintage toolbox. It features all vintage transformers, including a NOS Triad power transformer and choke, and all UTC audio transformers. It utilizes an A24 output transformer which is THE LA-2A output transformer. NOS military frequency selector switches. RCA 6CG7 output tube, 5Y3 rectifier tube, an old stock RCA 12AX7 tube compliment. This has less negative feedback than your typical pultec, resulting in more output level, so there is a built in attenuator to keep it close to unity. There is also a ‘fat’ switch which reduces low frequency in the negative feedback giving a harmonically rich low end boost. Laser etched letting.
A great conversation piece, and incredibly robust and more versatile pultec style EQ built with all the right stuff!
