The Collins 6M is a piece that we have been unable to find any documentation on. It came to us in disrepair with a missing input transformer, bad output transformer, and replaced power transformer. We did it justice by sourcing a period correct Collins input transformer and a bad to the bone NOS UTC CG-19 output transformer. We replaced the less than useful VU range control with a vintage Daven balanced 10dB per step 100dB attenuator and calibrated the VU to what you’d expect; 1.228v at the output at 0dB VU. This thing has the sauce! Midrange beefiness that justifies the rack space! Will come with our drawn out schematic of the circuit.
